The remake for Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland has been announced for coming to the States in the fourth quarter of the year. It's now the fourth quarter and Natsume hasn't said anything more about it at all. They seem more concerned with Frantic Farming and Arfika.

The storyline maker that everyone is looking foward in is only for X Box 360 and PS3. They also took the Highlight reel out of the game. Also the Championship scramble is so far the only new match announced. My advice. If you don't have PS3 or 360, don't get SvR 10.

Ars Technica once again gives an update via it's mole regarding the future of the current Playstation 3 units. Now it seems that the 80 GB Playstation 3 models will be on their way out, whereas the 160 GB models will continue to come in. Then right before the PS3 Slim launches in the fall season, so will the price drop come for the old models begin. Ars Technica describes it's source as someone with an "outstanding track record," the same person that announced the PSP Go.
If a new Playstation 3 model does come out, it would be good to have backwards compatibility reestablished, as well as a possible small die shrink below the 65nm fab process. Also remember that the 160 GB models' street price is $500, compared to the 80 GB models' street price of $400. Clearly the bang for the buck increases on a price drop, yet anyone looking for a $300 range unit may be left sitting by the window.
Between the pricing options we have now, $400 and $500, and the options we have later, a $400 classic PS3 model and a greater than or equal to $400 Slim PS3 model (assuming an approximate $100 price drop), the situation is similar. It does not seem to allow anyone to spend below that $400 mark; instead, it will allow more hard drive space or a new model.

I have a ds lite (loving it) though I would also like to have another portable system which is the PSP. And to fight the fanboyism in this world because both systems are great in their own kind of way.
On topic, I'm pretty confused in which psp version to get.
Should I buy the PSP 1000, which they say is heavier due to the metal ring ( I dont know where it is) inside the PSP therefore sturdier, has slower ram than the other two (But will downloaded games on your memory stick fix this? I mean the loading times of the games). And is cheaper.
Or how about the PSP slim, which is slimmer lighter, and is said to have a better dpad and buttons than its predecessor ( is it true? I kinda have used the 1000 and the 2000 but the slim's button felt cheap,), and holding it felt pretty awkward for me. But it has a birighter screen. Does the slim have a higher contrast ratio than the 1000's? Oh and about the TV output, not sure if I'll use this feature, because one of the main purposes of me thinking of buying a PSP is its portability. I love the deep red color of the PSP slim
Or should I buy the PSP 3000 which has screen issues like horizontal jaggies and scanlines? Do they really look that bad? I mean they say that fast moving images and games like racing games are unplayable on the 3000. And Sony announced that it is a hardware issue and they have no reason to fix it. And the PSP 3000 is unhackable unless you have the little blue tool.

I play this game called DJ Max Portable 1 & 2. For the people, that never heard of this game, well...it is a Korean game that released 3 years ago for the psp and it is like a "DDR" for psp.
It never released in America before but just a couple days ago, they announced that an American version called DJ Max Fever just came out. And after looking at some trailers....ok? Is this game just an American version of DJ Max Portable 1 or is it just an exclusive new version (most likely dj max portable 3) that would only be released in America? The roster gets leaked on IGN every year, one by one. My big question is if they'll leave legends out this year and just bring in more regular wrestlers, using only the legends that are currently part of the WWE in the game... I really don't like the fact that they used to leave out great midcard and lowcard wrestlers, and instead have legends that you can't use in any mode without it feeling like you're just playing back in time mode. Besides, with the new Legends of Wrestlemania game coming out in March, there's no point to have insignificant legends in SDvR09...
But if we were forced to have legends, my list of legends would be as such:
1. Stone Cold Steve Austin (He'll be on the roster forever, and his yearly visits will make him useful.)
2. Mick Foley (He's on the announcing team, and thus ineligible for GM mode, but having him in the game as a wrestler would be cool and understandable.)
3. Hacksaw Jim Duggan (He's actually on the roster, and is used as a legend character.)
4. Ric Flair (He's still on the roster as well, despite his retirement, and is still used in stories from time to time.)
5. Ron Simmons (His catchphrase may be all he's used for, but putting him as an unlockable would be neat.)
6. Tazz (He's an announcer, making him ineligible for GM Mode, but in his heyday he was an awesome wrestler.)
7. Jerry Lawler (Again, another announcer, which would make him ineligible for GM mode, but still, a legend that is actually in the WWE)
8. Sgt. Slaughter (He's a road agent in the WWE, and was used as a legend in the PSP version of SDvR08, so they have his moveset and everything.)
9. The Rock (Although he hasn't had a match since the tag match with Foley vs. Evolution, he's still a well known name that has enough pull to be a legend in the game.)
10. Hulk Hogan (Despite my utter hatred for him, he is THE legend of WWE, and he does make comeback appearances. Therefore a good addition.)

US, March 27, 2008 - It's been about four months since we had any substantial grappling news from THQ, but the Los Angeles County-based publisher put an end to that today: WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 is coming.
Although it won't be formally announced until tomorrow, THQ has confirmed with IGN that the latest installment in the storied wrestling franchise will be making its way to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS, PSP, PlayStation 2 and mobile devices this fall while boasting a bevy of bells and whistles.
On the Xbox 360, PS3, PSP and PS2, the biggest change in the action will come with a strong focus on tag teams. For the first time ever, players will be able to team up for co-op storylines in the Road to WrestleMania mode and take advantage of an overhauled tag structure to earn attributes on their way to the top. Tag teams -- both in and out of Road to WrestleMania -- will utilize the same momentum meter, break opponents with double team finishers and make "hot tags" for the win. Also making its debut will be Create-A-Finisher, which allows fans to choose from more than 500 animations in their quest to build the ultimate move. Specifically on the 360 and PS3, fans can look for the debut of SVR downloadable content, although THQ is mum about what it might be.
WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 marks the franchise's second title on the Wii, and THQ looks to be building on the motion controls and interactivity of the first outing. The game promises more match types, more weapons and the debut of online gameplay, which will feature matches and rankings. Although the title will pack Road to WrestleMania like the aforementioned versions, the Wii copy of SVR '09 will be the only place to find interactive entrances and victory celebrations that range from posing on the ramp to slapping the taste out of a beaten opponent. Seasoned players who pick up SVR '09 on the Nintendo DS will probably be in for more than a few surprises. GDC stands for game developers conference and it runs from february 18 to the 22nd. its basically a place to show how to create games and they ocasionally give some info on new games. here are my predictions for sony and microsoft:
Sony will announce a release date for Home and give some more info on LBP. Games such as Resistance 2 will have a trailer shown, and im hoping there will be some info on Metal Gear Solid 4, and InFamous along with some release dates. Game devs will be learning how to create content for home like trophies and what not
As for the PSP, nothing or very little.
As for Microsoft. I expect them to release some info for xbl and xbla, but i expect it to be little. they might also show the rest of the exclusives they have for xbox 360, and at the end of the year they will announce a new xbox console.

The storyline maker that everyone is looking foward in is only for X Box 360 and PS3. They also took the Highlight reel out of the game. Also the Championship scramble is so far the only new match announced. My advice. If you don't have PS3 or 360, don't get SvR 10.

Ars Technica once again gives an update via it's mole regarding the future of the current Playstation 3 units. Now it seems that the 80 GB Playstation 3 models will be on their way out, whereas the 160 GB models will continue to come in. Then right before the PS3 Slim launches in the fall season, so will the price drop come for the old models begin. Ars Technica describes it's source as someone with an "outstanding track record," the same person that announced the PSP Go.
If a new Playstation 3 model does come out, it would be good to have backwards compatibility reestablished, as well as a possible small die shrink below the 65nm fab process. Also remember that the 160 GB models' street price is $500, compared to the 80 GB models' street price of $400. Clearly the bang for the buck increases on a price drop, yet anyone looking for a $300 range unit may be left sitting by the window.
Between the pricing options we have now, $400 and $500, and the options we have later, a $400 classic PS3 model and a greater than or equal to $400 Slim PS3 model (assuming an approximate $100 price drop), the situation is similar. It does not seem to allow anyone to spend below that $400 mark; instead, it will allow more hard drive space or a new model.
Since Sony announced the PSP Go and there would be downloadable games now, is it still worth getting the PSP 3000? I can't get the GO since I have sucky connections for downloading games. So?

I have a ds lite (loving it) though I would also like to have another portable system which is the PSP. And to fight the fanboyism in this world because both systems are great in their own kind of way.
On topic, I'm pretty confused in which psp version to get.
Should I buy the PSP 1000, which they say is heavier due to the metal ring ( I dont know where it is) inside the PSP therefore sturdier, has slower ram than the other two (But will downloaded games on your memory stick fix this? I mean the loading times of the games). And is cheaper.
Or how about the PSP slim, which is slimmer lighter, and is said to have a better dpad and buttons than its predecessor ( is it true? I kinda have used the 1000 and the 2000 but the slim's button felt cheap,), and holding it felt pretty awkward for me. But it has a birighter screen. Does the slim have a higher contrast ratio than the 1000's? Oh and about the TV output, not sure if I'll use this feature, because one of the main purposes of me thinking of buying a PSP is its portability. I love the deep red color of the PSP slim
Or should I buy the PSP 3000 which has screen issues like horizontal jaggies and scanlines? Do they really look that bad? I mean they say that fast moving images and games like racing games are unplayable on the 3000. And Sony announced that it is a hardware issue and they have no reason to fix it. And the PSP 3000 is unhackable unless you have the little blue tool.

I planned to get a DS lite (the PSP is lacking in cool games) this month but hesitated when Nintendo announced the release of the DSi next year. You think I should wait another 3 months to get a DSi or should I just buy the DS lite now?

I play this game called DJ Max Portable 1 & 2. For the people, that never heard of this game, well...it is a Korean game that released 3 years ago for the psp and it is like a "DDR" for psp.
It never released in America before but just a couple days ago, they announced that an American version called DJ Max Fever just came out. And after looking at some trailers....ok? Is this game just an American version of DJ Max Portable 1 or is it just an exclusive new version (most likely dj max portable 3) that would only be released in America? The roster gets leaked on IGN every year, one by one. My big question is if they'll leave legends out this year and just bring in more regular wrestlers, using only the legends that are currently part of the WWE in the game... I really don't like the fact that they used to leave out great midcard and lowcard wrestlers, and instead have legends that you can't use in any mode without it feeling like you're just playing back in time mode. Besides, with the new Legends of Wrestlemania game coming out in March, there's no point to have insignificant legends in SDvR09...
But if we were forced to have legends, my list of legends would be as such:
1. Stone Cold Steve Austin (He'll be on the roster forever, and his yearly visits will make him useful.)
2. Mick Foley (He's on the announcing team, and thus ineligible for GM mode, but having him in the game as a wrestler would be cool and understandable.)
3. Hacksaw Jim Duggan (He's actually on the roster, and is used as a legend character.)
4. Ric Flair (He's still on the roster as well, despite his retirement, and is still used in stories from time to time.)
5. Ron Simmons (His catchphrase may be all he's used for, but putting him as an unlockable would be neat.)
6. Tazz (He's an announcer, making him ineligible for GM Mode, but in his heyday he was an awesome wrestler.)
7. Jerry Lawler (Again, another announcer, which would make him ineligible for GM mode, but still, a legend that is actually in the WWE)
8. Sgt. Slaughter (He's a road agent in the WWE, and was used as a legend in the PSP version of SDvR08, so they have his moveset and everything.)
9. The Rock (Although he hasn't had a match since the tag match with Foley vs. Evolution, he's still a well known name that has enough pull to be a legend in the game.)
10. Hulk Hogan (Despite my utter hatred for him, he is THE legend of WWE, and he does make comeback appearances. Therefore a good addition.)

US, March 27, 2008 - It's been about four months since we had any substantial grappling news from THQ, but the Los Angeles County-based publisher put an end to that today: WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 is coming.
Although it won't be formally announced until tomorrow, THQ has confirmed with IGN that the latest installment in the storied wrestling franchise will be making its way to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS, PSP, PlayStation 2 and mobile devices this fall while boasting a bevy of bells and whistles.
On the Xbox 360, PS3, PSP and PS2, the biggest change in the action will come with a strong focus on tag teams. For the first time ever, players will be able to team up for co-op storylines in the Road to WrestleMania mode and take advantage of an overhauled tag structure to earn attributes on their way to the top. Tag teams -- both in and out of Road to WrestleMania -- will utilize the same momentum meter, break opponents with double team finishers and make "hot tags" for the win. Also making its debut will be Create-A-Finisher, which allows fans to choose from more than 500 animations in their quest to build the ultimate move. Specifically on the 360 and PS3, fans can look for the debut of SVR downloadable content, although THQ is mum about what it might be.
WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 marks the franchise's second title on the Wii, and THQ looks to be building on the motion controls and interactivity of the first outing. The game promises more match types, more weapons and the debut of online gameplay, which will feature matches and rankings. Although the title will pack Road to WrestleMania like the aforementioned versions, the Wii copy of SVR '09 will be the only place to find interactive entrances and victory celebrations that range from posing on the ramp to slapping the taste out of a beaten opponent. Successfully get the crowd hyped on your way to the ring and you'll get an in-match bonus.
Seasoned players who pick up SVR '09 on the Nintendo DS will probably be in for more than a few surprises. GDC stands for game developers conference and it runs from february 18 to the 22nd. its basically a place to show how to create games and they ocasionally give some info on new games. here are my predictions for sony and microsoft:
Sony will announce a release date for Home and give some more info on LBP. Games such as Resistance 2 will have a trailer shown, and im hoping there will be some info on Metal Gear Solid 4, and InFamous along with some release dates. Game devs will be learning how to create content for home like trophies and what not
As for the PSP, nothing or very little.
As for Microsoft. I expect them to release some info for xbl and xbla, but i expect it to be little. they might also show the rest of the exclusives they have for xbox 360, and at the end of the year they will announce a new xbox console.

I'm 17 and trying to become a famous rapper and I made a demo tape, its like a full album. I'm charging people $10 for it and sold pretty good so far. If I go to old friends in school that I haven't seen in a while and start talking to them with a general conversation like "hey we haven't talked for so long" and during the conversation give them the CD and tell them what I'm doing and give me their honest opinion and if they like it they can keep it for $10 or just give it back. If someone you never seen for a while did that to you would you think he/she was being sleazy?

NEW YORK a�� In the midst of a career surge that has made him one of rap's biggest stars, Lil Wayne is bracing for a year behind bars after pleading guilty Thursday in a two-year-old gun case.
A glum Lil Wayne said little as he admitted illegally having a loaded gun on his tour bus in 2007, moving to end a case that had churned along as he collected Grammys and gold records. He's expected to get a year in jail at his sentencing, set for February.
The plea, which came as he boasted the country's No. 1 pop song, makes Lil Wayne the latest in a long line of rappers to face incarceration after topping the charts.
Arguably rap's most popular artist, Lil Wayne somberly answered his judge's questions with "yes, sir" and "no, sir" as he pleaded guilty to a felony charge of attempted criminal possession of a weapon.
He acknowledged he had a loaded .40-caliber semiautomatic gun when the bus was stopped shortly after a Manhattan concert on July 22, 2007. His lawyer had previously disputed the gun was the rapper's, in part by questioning the reliability of a highly sensitive DNA test that prosecutors said tied him to the weapon.
State Supreme Court Justice Charles Solomon warned Lil Wayne that he wouldn't be able later to withdraw the plea, as some people try to do.
"I'm not one of those people," said the rapper, who sat in court in jeans and a hooded parka. He pulled up the hood and didn't speak as he left the courthouse with members of his entourage, who piled into four black SUVs. He's due back in court Dec. 15 before his sentencing date, which has yet to be set.
He had faced at least 3 1/2 years in prison if convicted of the original weapons-possession charges against him.
Lil Wayne, 27, also is scheduled for trial in Arizona in March on felony drug possession and weapons charges stemming from a January 2008 arrest at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint. He has pleaded not guilty in that case.
In March, an Atlanta judge dismissed felony drug charges against Lil Wayne. His lawyer had said the rapper wasn't staying in the hotel room where police said the drugs were found in 2006.
Over the past two years, Lil Wayne a�� born Dwayne Carter a�� has emerged as the best-selling figure in music. His "Tha Carter III" topped all album sales in 2008 with 2.8 million copies sold off of such hits as the No. 1 smash "Lollipop." The Miami-based rapper wasn't licensed to carry a gun in New York, prosecutors said.
The Manhattan District Attorney's office said small amounts of DNA found on the gun connected it to Lil Wayne. Defense lawyer Stacey Richman had raised questions about the relatively new technique, used to derive the results from DNA samples that can consist of fewer than roughly 16 human cells.
A hearing on the method's level of scientific acceptance started Wednesday and had been expected to continue for days. After Lil Wayne's guilty plea, both prosecutors and Richman stressed that they stood by their contrasting positions on the technique.
But, Solomon said, "The issue is not going to be decided in this courtroom, in this case."
Meanwhile, another platinum-selling rapper, Ja Rule, still faces gun-possession charges stemming from his separate arrest after playing the same July 2007 show as Lil Wayne. Ja Rule, known to the court as Jeff Atkins, has pleaded not guilty. He has a court date next month.

OK I'm 18, started going to college and I wear my sandals with socks everyday to class. I do so mainly because I hate wearing normal people shoes because they hurt like hell, and I wear socks to keep my foot clean and warm. Also I do not enjoy the feeling when my foot touches the leather of my sandals. I also don't like the sight of feet when I'm out in public, but if anyone prefers people to wear sandals without socks, I'll just bash them for having a crazy foot fetish.
Problem is, socks and sandals is apparently a fashion faux pas in our society. A taboo worse then, communism, gay marriage and child pornography put together. Or at least that's how people in my classes see it as. I really don't see what's the problem with socks and sandals when there are things waaaaay worst.

Tupac Shakur was born on June 16, 1971 in the Bronx, in New York City.
From childhood everyone called him the "Black Prince." Tupac never knew his father, and when he asked his mother about him she would say 'I don't know who your daddy is.' Tupaca��s childhood was very tough..When he was two, his sister, Sekyiwa, was born, but Sekyiwaa��s father, Mutulu, (pacs step father) was sent to jail for sixty years for armed robbery. He had 372 song, but was a gangster and wasna��t signed with any record label so was really doing it for nothing. Bur tupac Amaru Shakur? At the age of 25 he was killed! He had over 1000 songs and still more that have not yet been released. At 25 he was one of the worls most notorious rappers. Today he is still considered the best by so many people worldwide. Tupac had such a tough life and got through it all and became a KING! Even though he might not have been the greatest role model for youngsters he made it big. On the morning of July 7th 2007 eight divers discovered the lifeless body of 18 year old David Griego at the bottom of a 25 foot Greely pond in Denver, Colorado. County police revealed that the young teen had drowned imitating a stunt he had seen on the widely popular MTV show, Jackass, which features celebrities like Johnny Knoxville performing various crude and self-injuring stunts and pranks. Although, Griegoa��s story is only one of the many celebrity influenced deaths that we hear about, he is part of a growing statistic of young teens that have been negatively influenced by celebrities. While some people dismiss the growing trend of youths looking to celebrities for role models as a stage of adolescents, they fail to see the deeper truth (Halpern 25). Celebrities, highlighted by their athletic skills, musical talent, and acting abilities, are also negative influences to the youth of society, and should be held responsible for their actions.
Youth today are constantly bombarded with news of panty less celebrities like Britney Spears, and Paris Hilton or exposed to concerts where 16 year old Miley Cyrus is allowed to dance in a mini skirt, and gyrate on stage while singing about cheating boyfriends. Wearing skimpy outfits has become a part of celebrity culture and its influence on young girls has become apparent. a�?More than 70% of girls are obsessed with trying to imitate the look of a celebrity, and 30% of those girls admit to looking up to over sexualized starletsa�? (Brandish 9). Stores like Wal-Mart and Sears are vendors of the Hannah Montana brand which includes mini skirts with fake chains hanging off the pockets, and a�?microa�? shorts and pants that carry the Hannah Montana logo and words like a�?pop stara�? or a�?rock stara�? on the butt. Young girls aiming to dress like Hannah Montana demand these over sexualized outfits from their parents and elicit inappropriate attention. Young Disney celebs have taken on more grown up styles. Such is the case with actors like Kike Palmer and Miley Cyrus who are only 16, yet prance around Hollywood in leather minis and stilettos. These mature styles being modeled by young starlets has little girls as young as five or six wanting to imitate their style and be a�?grown-upa�? also.
While many critics will say it is ultimately the parents who buy the skimpy clothing their kida��s wear, who is to account for the hundreds of teenage girls that hide short skirts and a�?boob tubesa�? in their backpacks only to put it on when their parents are unaware. a�?12 out of 20 girls say their parents have no idea what types of clothes they buy and dona��t know what they wear to schoola�?(Halpern 30).
Girls are not the only victims when it comes to the negative influence of celebrities, boys are also impacted. Famous rap artist P. Diddy proudly sells his trademarked a�?Bitchassnessa�? shirts with his junior Sean John collection, which is marketed to young males. His marketing tactics have boys as young as 12 years old requesting where they can purchase this shirt that glorifies bad grammar and curse words. And Diddy, a father to 4 boys as young as 13 makes a quick buck while young boys get the notion that curse words are appropriate. According to Jake Halpern, author of the book Fame Junkies, a�?in 2002, celebrity-endorsed clothing labels accounted for 6 percent of the apparel industry; in 2005, it jumped to 10 percent,a�? and a�?analysts predict another 15 percent rise by 2009a�? (Halpern 14).
In addition to glorifying obscene language, celebrities also influence how young boys wear their clothes. The a�?baggy shortsa�? epidemic has hit every middle school and high school in the form of teen boys. Young boys walk around in baggy shorts because they see rappers like Lila�� Wayne and Jay-z make sagging seem cool. These rappers never considered that they are promoting a style once associated with a�?gaya�? men in prison.
Mike Males a writer for the San Diego Greenhaven Press argues that, a�?celebrities dona��t influence Americaa��s youth and shouldna��t hold the blame because parents should be the role modelsa�? (Males 1). If this is true why have so many celebrities come out with clothing and perfume lines that bear their name? Celebrities know that their name carries consumer appeal, and influences kids to buy a certain shirt or rock a certain pair of kicks. Celebrities also know what they are getting into when they take that first acting gig. If you didna��t want to be looked at by young kids as a role model why start off on a network geared towards kids. Why not start off on soap operas mainly viewed by adults. P. Diddy knows that he is a role model to young boys, so why market a shirt that advertises a cuss word you wouldna��t want your own son repeating in a junior clothing line. But, he said before he does that, he is going to make it official by legally changing his name. I said that that name is completely ridiculous and suggested he try another name like maybe L.L. Tool-Jay, or something like that, but he has his heart set on Hercules J. Murder. I'm 17 and trying to become a famous rapper and I made a demo tape, its like a full album. I'm charging people $10 for it and sold pretty good so far. If I go to old friends in school that I haven't seen in a while and start talking to them with a general conversation like "hey we haven't talked for so long" and during the conversation give them the CD and tell them what I'm doing and give me their honest opinion and if they like it they can keep it for $10 or just give it back. NEW YORK a�� In the midst of a career surge that has made him one of rap's biggest stars, Lil Wayne is bracing for a year behind bars after pleading guilty Thursday in a two-year-old gun case.
A glum Lil Wayne said little as he admitted illegally having a loaded gun on his tour bus in 2007, moving to end a case that had churned along as he collected Grammys and gold records. He's expected to get a year in jail at his sentencing, set for February.
The plea, which came as he boasted the country's No. 1 pop song, makes Lil Wayne the latest in a long line of rappers to face incarceration after topping the charts.
Arguably rap's most popular artist, Lil Wayne somberly answered his judge's questions with "yes, sir" and "no, sir" as he pleaded guilty to a felony charge of attempted criminal possession of a weapon.
He acknowledged he had a loaded .40-caliber semiautomatic gun when the bus was stopped shortly after a Manhattan concert on July 22, 2007. His lawyer had previously disputed the gun was the rapper's, in part by questioning the reliability of a highly sensitive DNA test that prosecutors said tied him to the weapon.
State Supreme Court Justice Charles Solomon warned Lil Wayne that he wouldn't be able later to withdraw the plea, as some people try to do.
"I'm not one of those people," said the rapper, who sat in court in jeans and a hooded parka. He pulled up the hood and didn't speak as he left the courthouse with members of his entourage, who piled into four black SUVs. He's due back in court Dec. 15 before his sentencing date, which has yet to be set.
He had faced at least 3 1/2 years in prison if convicted of the original weapons-possession charges against him.
Lil Wayne, 27, also is scheduled for trial in Arizona in March on felony drug possession and weapons charges stemming from a January 2008 arrest at a U.S. Border Patrol checkpoint. He has pleaded not guilty in that case.
In March, an Atlanta judge dismissed felony drug charges against Lil Wayne. His lawyer had said the rapper wasn't staying in the hotel room where police said the drugs were found in 2006.

His "Tha Carter III" topped all album sales in 2008 with 2.8 million copies sold off of such hits as the No. 1 smash "Lollipop." The Manhattan District Attorney's office said small amounts of DNA found on the gun connected it to Lil Wayne. Defense lawyer Stacey Richman had raised questions about the relatively new technique, used to derive the results from DNA samples that can consist of fewer than roughly 16 human cells.
A hearing on the method's level of scientific acceptance started Wednesday and had been expected to continue for days. After Lil Wayne's guilty plea, both prosecutors and Richman stressed that they stood by their contrasting positions on the technique.
But, Solomon said, "The issue is not going to be decided in this courtroom, in this case."
Meanwhile, another platinum-selling rapper, Ja Rule, still faces gun-possession charges stemming from his separate arrest after playing the same July 2007 show as Lil Wayne. Ja Rule, known to the court as Jeff Atkins, has pleaded not guilty. He has a court date next month.

OK I'm 18, started going to college and I wear my sandals with socks everyday to class. I do so mainly because I hate wearing normal people shoes because they hurt like hell, and I wear socks to keep my foot clean and warm. Also I do not enjoy the feeling when my foot touches the leather of my sandals. I also don't like the sight of feet when I'm out in public, but if anyone prefers people to wear sandals without socks, I'll just bash them for having a crazy foot fetish.
Problem is, socks and sandals is apparently a fashion faux pas in our society. A taboo worse then, communism, gay marriage and child pornography put together. Or at least that's how people in my classes see it as. I really don't see what's the problem with socks and sandals when there are things waaaaay worst.

Tupac Shakur was born on June 16, 1971 in the Bronx, in New York City.
From childhood everyone called him the "Black Prince." Tupac never knew his father, and when he asked his mother about him she would say 'I don't know who your daddy is.' Tupaca��s childhood was very tough..When he was two, his sister, Sekyiwa, was born, but Sekyiwaa��s father, Mutulu, (pacs step father) was sent to jail for sixty years for armed robbery. With him in prison, life was very hard for pac and his family, they lived in extreme povert yand constantly moved around. He said that his a mojor issue for him while growinh up was not fitting in because he was just from everywere and didna��t have any friends that he grew up with. Tupac was absolutely amazing! I mean, when eminem was 25 he was working in a factory and had just 330 songs. Snoop Dogg? He had 313 songs but was sitting in prison at the age of 25. And 50Cent? He had 372 song, but was a gangster and wasna��t signed with any record label so was really doing it for nothing. Bur tupac Amaru Shakur? At the age of 25 he was killed! He had over 1000 songs and still more that have not yet been released. At 25 he was one of the worls most notorious rappers. Today he is still considered the best by so many people worldwide. Tupac had such a tough life and got through it all and became a KING! Even though he might not have been the greatest role model for youngsters he made it big. In my opinion there is only one word that could fully fit the the description of Tupac Amaru Shakur. That word is a�?LEGENDa�?

While some people dismiss the growing trend of youths looking to celebrities for role models as a stage of adolescents, they fail to see the deeper truth (Halpern 25). Celebrities, highlighted by their athletic skills, musical talent, and acting abilities, are also negative influences to the youth of society, and should be held responsible for their actions.
Youth today are constantly bombarded with news of panty less celebrities like Britney Spears, and Paris Hilton or exposed to concerts where 16 year old Miley Cyrus is allowed to dance in a mini skirt, and gyrate on stage while singing about cheating boyfriends. Wearing skimpy outfits has become a part of celebrity culture and its influence on young girls has become apparent. a�?More than 70% of girls are obsessed with trying to imitate the look of a celebrity, and 30% of those girls admit to looking up to over sexualized starletsa�? (Brandish 9). Stores like Wal-Mart and Sears are vendors of the Hannah Montana brand which includes mini skirts with fake chains hanging off the pockets, and a�?microa�? shorts and pants that carry the Hannah Montana logo and words like a�?pop stara�? or a�?rock stara�? on the butt. Young girls aiming to dress like Hannah Montana demand these over sexualized outfits from their parents and elicit inappropriate attention. Young Disney celebs have taken on more grown up styles. Such is the case with actors like Kike Palmer and Miley Cyrus who are only 16, yet prance around Hollywood in leather minis and stilettos. These mature styles being modeled by young starlets has little girls as young as five or six wanting to imitate their style and be a�?grown-upa�? also.

Girls are not the only victims when it comes to the negative influence of celebrities, boys are also impacted. Famous rap artist P. Diddy proudly sells his trademarked a�?Bitchassnessa�? shirts with his junior Sean John collection, which is marketed to young males. His marketing tactics have boys as young as 12 years old requesting where they can purchase this shirt that glorifies bad grammar and curse words. And Diddy, a father to 4 boys as young as 13 makes a quick buck while young boys get the notion that curse words are appropriate. According to Jake Halpern, author of the book Fame Junkies, a�?in 2002, celebrity-endorsed clothing labels accounted for 6 percent of the apparel industry; in 2005, it jumped to 10 percent,a�? and a�?analysts predict another 15 percent rise by 2009a�? (Halpern 14).
In addition to glorifying obscene language, celebrities also influence how young boys wear their clothes. The a�?baggy shortsa�? epidemic has hit every middle school and high school in the form of teen boys. Young boys walk around in baggy shorts because they see rappers like Lila�� Wayne and Jay-z make sagging seem cool. These rappers never considered that they are promoting a style once associated with a�?gaya�? men in prison.
Mike Males a writer for the San Diego Greenhaven Press argues that, a�?celebrities dona��t influence Americaa��s youth and shouldna��t hold the blame because parents should be the role modelsa�? (Males 1). If this is true why have so many celebrities come out with clothing and perfume lines that bear their name? Celebrities know that their name carries consumer appeal, and influences kids to buy a certain shirt or rock a certain pair of kicks. Celebrities also know what they are getting into when they take that first acting gig. If you didna��t want to be looked at by young kids as a role model why start off on a network geared towards kids. Why not start off on soap operas mainly viewed by adults. P. Hey well i just wanted to become a Disney channel star. so i went to dis site Wilhelmina and then i signed up and i put up pics. so the next day they called me and said that i got an appointment with them. so the next day i went and they made me act and sing and etc. so then that day they told me that i need to come back 2morrow for an interview when i went today they asked me questions i answered them all. In order to become a disney star, you must have connections?
Because so far, the stars in disney (at least the main ones), like Miley Cyrus, Emily Osment, Selena Gomez, etc. had connections.
They parents were around the industries, like Miley's father, Emily's mother etc. and now they are so famous.
I don't think they care about the talent at all, because Miley is not even talented. I heard many talented children audition for Disney and they just kick them out.

Miley Cyrus, born November 23, 1992, became a BIG star when she landed her role on Disney Channel's Hannah Montana. When season one was almost over, her rep. was ruined. Why?
I'll tell you a few reasons, or what I think.
If you put together growing up, being one of the biggest stars of today, and normal chores and all that, you get LOTS of stress. Some people solve their stress by acting...well...you know, like Miley has been. But really, it doesn't solve ANYTHING. It solves NOTHING, actually it ADDS stress to that pile. Some people just don't realize that.
Another reason is that she is a big star and she thinks she needs to be revealing to create attention from press. Every star wants at least SOME attention, and I guess Miley didn't feel she had enough from Hannah Montana. So, she thought this would really be a way to get some more attention (as if she needed it, just adds stress). Well, it worked, but it turned about half-three quarters of her fans AGAINST her.
Am I against her? NO!!!!!!!!!!! MILEY IS ONE OF MY ROLE MODELS! Yes, she may not be the best role model, and I am NOT proud of a lot of things she has done, but she is still an amazing person, in my opinion. Am I against what she has been doing to herself? YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I SURE AM! She is being so dumb, trying to get attention this way.
Now, I will share some other things for people to think about.
1. If you think about it, there are LOTS of bad pictures of Miley/Hannah on the Internet. LOOK AT THEIR FACES. Some are IMPOSTERS, not really her.
2. Some are PHOTOSHOPPED! It is soooooo easy to photoshop people once you learn how to work everything.
3. Some are really her, I guess you could say. But not really some of the WORST ones are her, I mean a few are but some aren't really to bad, compared to BRITNEY SPEARS. (Have you seen what Britney wears on stage? Jeez)
So just some things to think about, because, well, yeah.
I AM NOT A MILEY-HATER! I AM NOT ANTI-MILEY! I am one of Miley's biggest fans! But I still don't think its right, the things she's doing.

Well Starting off pretty much i was home my whole summer. It not even that i don't have friend it just when they ask me the go out i am to lazy to go. WWE is falling apart on its face in quality. I hear that WWE is making more money than ever but they are doing that without looking at the long term effects. It is 100% to keep a business respected in a smaller scale than to have it go extremely big. I think having ECW, Raw, and Smackdown is a mistake. The rosters are too spread out and it causes middle rate wrestlers to become champions.
I really like ECW because it attracts the old timers, but I would like to see WWF abandon ECW HD on scifi channel, and go back to small house shows as before. The theme should be kept the same and I would like to see ECW have a rated R rating for violence. If ECW returned to its old days under WWEa��s supervision, it would bring back all the old timers and new fans who love extreme wrestling and not some PG Disney shit that WWE is going for.
The fact that they have made all the sets the same is also a bad decision. There is nothing to distinguish them by. I loved the Monday night war because WWF and WCW were both so different and unique and the sets played a role in that.
WWE loves their old attitude wrestlers too much. I admit I love Triple H but its getting jaded. HBK, Undertaker, Kane have been working for the company for about two decades nowa��their not like what they used to be, its obvious for many that their too old. They need to find and make new stars. I think the best they came up with is Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton. (Im not happy with both)
In closing, WWE should first buy World Widlife Fund and return as the WWF. They need to stop degrading womena��s wrestling. They need to show uniqueness between the three brands and make ECW into more of a smaller based wrestling promoter.

I think that 3 of these shows went downhill severly.
Nickelodeon
Nickelodeon used to the best in 90's through the early 00's. I remember good quality shows like Angry Beaver, the Rugrats, Doug, Hey Arnold As Told By Ginger, Ren & Stimpy, Aww Real Monster, the old Spongebob, and they are also good live action like the Amanda Show, Drake & Josh, Kenan & Kel, Clarissa Explains it all, Pete & Pete, Are You Afraid of the Dark, the First half of All That, Brothers Garcia, Taina, and Cousin Skeeter.
Now Nickelodeon is spiraling downhill, the only thing that is decent is Spongebob, the Avatar, the Fairly odd parents and Nick at Night. The new Nickelodeon has no originality, all these shows like Unfabulous and Zoey 101 are stupid, I mean it's so extra glamourized, all these girls wear loads of makeup, date, make out, they're not really being kids. All those new cartoon on Nick is retarded like Madagascar and Mighty Bee, don't get me started on Icarly, and that new show called Tru Jackson VP. It's sad to see Nickelodeon declining real badly.

I remember Disney at it's best, I remember good quality shows like So Weird, Famous Jett Jackson, the Proud Family, Kim Possible, Lizzie Mcguire, Even Steven, That's So Raven, Phil of the Future and Suit Life of Zack & Cody.
I used to like the first season of Hannah Montana then the later show got annoying and repetitive. Overall Hannah Montana is a stupid show, the Suite life on Deck is annoying too, so is Cory in the House, That wizard show, and even the Jonas Brothers have their own show, they suck at singing. it's funny how every disney stars "sings" but they can't, Disney is like a warm up for the people to become famous in their adult life. Their cartoon sucks too. Disney have to stoop so low, I feel bad that they ruined Walt Disney's dream, and his image so there greedy corporation can make a quick buck.
The only show that I can tolerate right now is Phineas and Ferb.

Cartoon Network is in decline to. I remember good quality show that is worth watching like Johnny Bravo, The Powerpuff girl, Dexter's Laboratory, Edd, Ed, & Eddy, Foster's Home for imaginary Friend, Grim Adventure of Billy & Mandy, Teen Titans, Ton & Jerry and Loony Tunes.
Now Cartoon Network stoop so low too, those bad shows like 6 Teen, Total Drama Island, Chowder, My Gym Partner is monkey, George of the Jungle, Camp Lazlo, Flap Jack, don't get me started on that show, Flapjack and Chowder got to be the most retarded show ever, there shows are for 5 years old, people would loss an I.Q or two on watching that show. They even have reality shows on Cartoon Newtork, REALITY SHOWS ON CARTOON NETWORK, it's like putting Family Guy on Nick Jr.
Overall these channels are in really big trouble. I would rather watch Dora the Explorer then these shows that I just mentioned. Alteast is not retarded and actually have a plot.
Don't get me started on MTV, BET and VH1.
MTV used to show music video 24/7, now it's just reality show junk, like the real world, parental guidance, super sweet 16, is she really going out with him and stupid teen rich preppy shows like Laguna Beach and The Hills.
BET used to be good, now it's just ghetto trash.

Hey well i just wanted to become a Disney channel star. so i went to dis site Wilhelmina and then i signed up and i put up pics. so the next day they called me and said that i got an appointment with them. so the next day i went and they made me act and sing and etc. so then that day they told me that i need to come back 2morrow for an interview when i went today they asked me questions i answered them all. So then she said u need an agent now she said we are going to help you with 6 months with your acting and singing for you to get professional at it. so i asked her i was like how much is it she was like 2000 dollars for 6 months. then i was like what do i do after that when i get professional at it she said she will send me to an audition and if the Disney people if they think im good then im in Disney if i don't pass the first day with my acting or singing then the girl said you can keep going to try again till u pass but i asked her so if i don't pass the first time with the Disney do i have to pay u 2000 again she was like no u just keep going till u pass. and i was like say that if i do pass do i have to go to CA for Disney to shoot there in los angeles she was like no...but now idk if i should pay her or not idk if she is telling the truth or not. i also said is that all i have to pay to get in Disney is 2000 dollars that's all? and she was like yea...so idk do u think i should pay her or not...or do u think it is a scam.

Because so far, the stars in disney (at least the main ones), like Miley Cyrus, Emily Osment, Selena Gomez, etc. had connections.
They parents were around the industries, like Miley's father, Emily's mother etc. and now they are so famous.
I don't think they care about the talent at all, because Miley is not even talented. I heard many talented children audition for Disney and they just kick them out.

Miley Cyrus, born November 23, 1992, became a BIG star when she landed her role on Disney Channel's Hannah Montana. When season one was almost over, her rep. was ruined. Why?
I'll tell you a few reasons, or what I think.
If you put together growing up, being one of the biggest stars of today, and normal chores and all that, you get LOTS of stress. Some people solve their stress by acting...well...you know, like Miley has been. But really, it doesn't solve ANYTHING. It solves NOTHING, actually it ADDS stress to that pile. Some people just don't realize that.
Another reason is that she is a big star and she thinks she needs to be revealing to create attention from press. Every star wants at least SOME attention, and I guess Miley didn't feel she had enough from Hannah Montana. So, she thought this would really be a way to get some more attention (as if she needed it, just adds stress). Well, it worked, but it turned about half-three quarters of her fans AGAINST her.
Am I against her? NO!!!!!!!!!!! MILEY IS ONE OF MY ROLE MODELS! Yes, she may not be the best role model, and I am NOT proud of a lot of things she has done, but she is still an amazing person, in my opinion. Am I against what she has been doing to herself? YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I SURE AM! She is being so dumb, trying to get attention this way.
Now, I will share some other things for people to think about.
1. If you think about it, there are LOTS of bad pictures of Miley/Hannah on the Internet. LOOK AT THEIR FACES. Some are IMPOSTERS, not really her.
2. Some are PHOTOSHOPPED! It is soooooo easy to photoshop people once you learn how to work everything.
3. Some are really her, I guess you could say. But not really some of the WORST ones are her, I mean a few are but some aren't really to bad, compared to BRITNEY SPEARS. (Have you seen what Britney wears on stage? Jeez)
So just some things to think about, because, well, yeah.

Well Starting off pretty much i was home my whole summer. It not even that i don't have friend it just when they ask me the go out i am to lazy to go. WWE is falling apart on its face in quality. I hear that WWE is making more money than ever but they are doing that without looking at the long term effects. It is 100% to keep a business respected in a smaller scale than to have it go extremely big. I think having ECW, Raw, and Smackdown is a mistake. The rosters are too spread out and it causes middle rate wrestlers to become champions.
I really like ECW because it attracts the old timers, but I would like to see WWF abandon ECW HD on scifi channel, and go back to small house shows as before. The theme should be kept the same and I would like to see ECW have a rated R rating for violence. If ECW returned to its old days under WWEa��s supervision, it would bring back all the old timers and new fans who love extreme wrestling and not some PG Disney shit that WWE is going for.
The fact that they have made all the sets the same is also a bad decision. There is nothing to distinguish them by. I loved the Monday night war because WWF and WCW were both so different and unique and the sets played a role in that.
WWE loves their old attitude wrestlers too much. I admit I love Triple H but its getting jaded. HBK, Undertaker, Kane have been working for the company for about two decades nowa��their not like what they used to be, its obvious for many that their too old. They need to find and make new stars. I think the best they came up with is Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton. (Im not happy with both)
In closing, WWE should first buy World Widlife Fund and return as the WWF. They need to stop degrading womena��s wrestling. They need to show uniqueness between the three brands and make ECW into more of a smaller based wrestling promoter.

The jonas brothers would be a pretty good show/ band but problem is, they act so gay..

I think that 3 of these shows went downhill severly.
Nickelodeon
Nickelodeon used to the best in 90's through the early 00's. I remember good quality shows like Angry Beaver, the Rugrats, Doug, Hey Arnold As Told By Ginger, Ren & Stimpy, Aww Real Monster, the old Spongebob, and they are also good live action like the Amanda Show, Drake & Josh, Kenan & Kel, Clarissa Explains it all, Pete & Pete, Are You Afraid of the Dark, the First half of All That, Brothers Garcia, Taina, and Cousin Skeeter.
Now Nickelodeon is spiraling downhill, the only thing that is decent is Spongebob, the Avatar, the Fairly odd parents and Nick at Night. The new Nickelodeon has no originality, all these shows like Unfabulous and Zoey 101 are stupid, I mean it's so extra glamourized, all these girls wear loads of makeup, date, make out, they're not really being kids. All those new cartoon on Nick is retarded like Madagascar and Mighty Bee, don't get me started on Icarly, and that new show called Tru Jackson VP. It's sad to see Nickelodeon declining real badly.
Disney Channel
Disney suffers the same fate as Nickelodeon but worse.
I remember Disney at it's best, I remember good quality shows like So Weird, Famous Jett Jackson, the Proud Family, Kim Possible, Lizzie Mcguire, Even Steven, That's So Raven, Phil of the Future and Suit Life of Zack & Cody.
I used to like the first season of Hannah Montana then the later show got annoying and repetitive. Overall Hannah Montana is a stupid show, the Suite life on Deck is annoying too, so is Cory in the House, That wizard show, and even the Jonas Brothers have their own show, they suck at singing. it's funny how every disney stars "sings" but they can't, Disney is like a warm up for the people to become famous in their adult life. Their cartoon sucks too. Disney have to stoop so low, I feel bad that they ruined Walt Disney's dream, and his image so there greedy corporation can make a quick buck.
The only show that I can tolerate right now is Phineas and Ferb.
Cartoon
Cartoon Network is in decline to. I remember good quality show that is worth watching like Johnny Bravo, The Powerpuff girl, Dexter's Laboratory, Edd, Ed, & Eddy, Foster's Home for imaginary Friend, Grim Adventure of Billy & Mandy, Teen Titans, Ton & Jerry and Loony Tunes.
Now Cartoon Network stoop so low too, those bad shows like 6 Teen, Total Drama Island, Chowder, My Gym Partner is monkey, George of the Jungle, Camp Lazlo, Flap Jack, don't get me started on that show, Flapjack and Chowder got to be the most retarded show ever, there shows are for 5 years old, people would loss an I.Q or two on watching that show. They even have reality shows on Cartoon Newtork, REALITY SHOWS ON CARTOON NETWORK, it's like putting Family Guy on Nick Jr.
Overall these channels are in really big trouble. I would rather watch Dora the Explorer then these shows that I just mentioned. Alteast is not retarded and actually have a plot.
Don't get me started on MTV, BET and VH1.
MTV used to show music video 24/7, now it's just reality show junk, like the real world, parental guidance, super sweet 16, is she really going out with him and stupid teen rich preppy shows like Laguna Beach and The Hills.
BET used to be good, now it's just ghetto trash.
VH1 used to be good, now they are obsessed with reality show fights, and stupid trashy shows like Daisy of Love, and Charm School.
Seriously, these channels should be out of business, or they need to improve on their shows before it's too late.
Well, it's not me. It's my little niece. She's 11 and ever since she learned how to turn on a TV and use a remote, she's watched nothing but Disney Channel. Now she's decided she wants to BE on Disney Channel, like Madison Pettis. But slight problem. She lives in Boonville, Indiana and her family can't afford to go to New York or Hollywood. But it's her biggest dream to be on Disney Channel. Is there anyway she can do that?
They SOMETIMES vacation in San Deigo and she doesn't want to SING she wants to ACT. She's really good at it.
